  • (2012-2013) Board of Governors Representative: In this role I represented 30,000 students at the highest standing body of the University of Calgary: the Board of Governors, a board responsible for the health, security, and financial well being of the university. As a community member on the board I was elected by my peers with 52% of the vote (winning 1,972 votes) on a campaign based on my capability as a strong student advocate and my passion for student issues. You can see my website on my run here. You can read more on my exploits on the Board of Governors on my BoG Blog.
  • (2010-2011) Arts Faculty Representative: I represented 7,200 of my fellow students at the University of Calgary after running in an election against 11 candidates. While representing my fellow students I led projects, sat on committees, raised issues to administration, lead the process to build a $100,000 Arts faculty lounge, and directly improved the lives of students.
