Model United Nations
Model United Nations is an academic simulation of the United Nations that aims to educate participants about current events, topics in international relations, and diplomacy. The participants role-play as diplomats representing a nation or NGO in a simulated session of a committee of the United Nations. Participants research a country or organization, take on roles as diplomats, investigate international issues, debate, deliberate, consult, and then develop solutions to world problems.

Activism
My political activism has allowed me to generate and reinforce my leadership skills. I have been advised to hide my political activities from future employers by career advisers but have opted to leave it here for two core reasons: (1) these positions and areas of exploration were areas where I developed the key skills of public speaking and leadership and (2) I am proud of engaging in a political process in a time and age where most people (young and old) have tuned out and stopped engaging.
