The first donor to step up and fund the next $500 was Vincent St Pierre, a civil servant who has had family and friends struggle with mental health issues. He followed the campaign from its infancy and after careful consideration decided it was time for him to step up and pay it forward.

“It’s absolutely amazing what he’s doing,” St Pierre said. “He’s gathered a local group of students, engaged them, took a leadership role and then not only took that leadership role to his community at a very small level, he’s expanded it…all the leaders at Crescent Heights should be very impressed with themselves.”
